In February Bill Rose, a long time car enthusiast, invited the regional Model A Ford Clubs to join him at the Grand Island Mansion for a Valentine’s Day Celebration.

The Mansion is a Southern Pre Civil War type mansion located in the heart of the Sacramento River Delta. It has a varied history but now serves as a resort hotel ideal for weddings, meetings, and weekend get-a-ways.

Walter, Steve, Jack,and I met the Machados and Model A’ers from Modesto, Sacramento, Walnut Creek, and Livermore to celebrate the day and enjoy a beautifully displayed brunch buffet.

Following the brunch we toured the mansion and did a little tire kicking in the parking lot before leaving for home.
